“Our kitchen is somewhat small and I was finding that I didn’t have enough cabinet space for things like crock pots and other large items. After attending the home and builders show and seeing some of the cabinet organization options available we decided to do a budget friendly kitchen renovation.

Changing out my lazy Susan cabinet for a blind corner cabinet uses all of space in the corner, and the pull out shelves make finding things easy, no more items lost in the back corner out of reach. Installing a dedicated spice cabinet and utensils storage cabinet also freed up drawer and cabinet space, not to mention that spices are much easier to find.

My very favorite thing is the pan and lid organizer, what a great idea, there is plenty of space for pots and pans of all sizes and it is easily adjusted to accommodate your specific needs. No longer do I have to worry about my non-stick skillets being scratched by stacking them.

Lynn was very open to my suggestions and ideas. I now have plenty of storage space, and even have some extra room and we didn’t have to start from scratch to and do a full remodel. I couldn’t be happier.

“Last year about this time of year ( April 2015) my husband and I decided it was time to update our mid 1970s home. Since my husband worked construction, he took on the role of general contractor and the work began.
I stopped at Interiors… by design where I met lovely Lynn (Lynnie) Ford who graciously walked us through the remodel from beginning to end. She came to our home and we explained what we thought we wanted to see as our end result.

Lynnie brought us several computerized design plans which were revised as needed during the remodel process. We were not only remodeling the kitchen but opening up our living and dining room by taking out an entire wall. We also wanted new oak kitchen cabinets and oak flooring in all three rooms and hallway.
Dave Tranel assisted us in completing our flooring needs. (Lynn followed the carpenters rule of measuring twice and cutting once), so the floor to ceiling cabinets fit perfectly. I left on a Trip to visit my daughter and her new baby during the remodel process leaving everything in my husband and Lynnie’s hands.

I came home my husband had the cabinets installed and oak flooring was installed. Lynn introduced me to several kitchen cabinet convenience designs which I dearly love…. a pantry with pull-out drawers, pull out spice cabinet, pull out utensil cabinet, and my favorite, a secret corner cabinet. Lynn listened to our concerns and questions as they came up. She shared her expertise every step of the way down to helping pick paint colors and cabinet hardware. I simply love our new Kitchen & living space. Thank You Interiors… by design for your help in making our home a beautiful and comfortable place to be!”

“I was mulling over the very real need for a new dishwasher. Our old one sounded like a train going through the kitchen. Of course, our kitchen was even older than our dishwasher, so we knew kitchen improvements would soon be inevitable. While driving around town checking out dishwashers, out of curiosity, I turned into Interiors… by design. I was greeted warmly by Lynnie Ford. We visited about my shopping for a new dishwasher and I casually told her that some day I hoped to redo our kitchen. Well, that was the beginning of a wonderful relationship!

I had no idea where to start in thinking about remodeling our kitchen. I hadn’t even decided on a new dishwasher. But Lynnie offered to come to our house, measure and re-measure; she provided ideas and options; and readily gave us cost estimates. Happily, we realized a new kitchen was possible! We had a budget and I was determined to adhere to it because I also had a second dream in the back of my head – that of someday adding a garage to our house. Lynnie was great in keeping with our wishes. She worked with us in every detail She laid out a plan, provided suggestions we never would have thought of, gave us cost estimates and a timeframe for such a project.

Lynnie and her team were wonderful to work with. The remodeling moved along smoothly under Lynnie’s watchful eye and constant supervision. We are so happy with our brand new kitchen – the layout, cabinets, appliances, flooring, colors – and those special features Lynnie introduced to us! And all within our budget, which enabled us to fulfill our second dream – that of adding a large garage, conveniently connected to our new kitchen. With a few dimes to spare, we were able to enjoy a kitchen table and chairs from Interiors… by design that surely were “just meant for our new kitchen.”
